Mr Livissianis is the Chairman of the CPA Australia Directors Discussion Group in Sydney and the Treasure/Director of the Greek Orthodox Parish of South East Sydney.
He served on the Boards of Australian Metal Holdings Group, Twynam Pastoral Group, Equico Australia Management Group, Strategic Equity Investments and The Kennington Alliance.

After completing his Bachelor of Commerce degree (majoring in accounting and financial management) at the University of New South Wales, Con worked as a Corporate Planning Manager with Development Underwriting which specialised in construction, property development, high fashion textiles, hotels and agriculture. In 1982 he became the CEO of the Twynam Pastoral Group, the largest family owned agricultural group in Australia and in 1984 an Executive Director of the Australian Metal Holdings Group. On resigning from both organisations Con was invited to stay on as a non-executive director.
In 1986 Con began his career as a management consultant concentrating on corporate performance improvement which he has carried through into his company Exemplar. Consultancy projects included development of corporate governance policies, corporate recovery and restructuring, due diligence on new acquisitions, cash flow management, and development of KPIs for management and the board of directors.
Long term business support programs include mentoring managing directors and chairman of boards especially on governance, sustainability and the impact of climate change. Con has consulted and worked in various industries such as agricultural, import wholesale distribution, construction, property development, mining, high fashion textiles, hotels, telecommunications, recruitment, chemical, light engineering and others.
In 2005 Con developed a web-based on-line skills test which he uses as part of his evaluation of the practical capabilities of accounting staff. Con then developed reputedly the “world’s first” Directors on-line skills test which he uses as part of his performance evaluation tools on directors and boards – this gap analysis may result in small group or one-on-one training. In 2013 Con formed a joint venture with an Indian Consulting firm that will market the exemplar director sills test and International Corporate Governance training in India.
Con being a true believer in by-lateral trade obtained in 2012 the Australian rights to distribute the India invented, digibookx™ process, which automates data entry in the accounting package.
Con has presented papers including ”The Skills Shortage On Boards”, “Preparation Necessary To Become A Director”, “Board of Directors, Corporate Governance, Goals and Objectives – How do these work together?” and “Planning For Succession…The Corporate Governance Way.”
