KERALA FLOOD RELIEF EFFORTS- CONTRIBUTION TO CHIEF MINISTER’S DISASTER RELIEF FUND Aug 23, 2018

The Australia India Business Council expresses deep sadness at the suffering of the people in Kerala. The floods have been devastating and the worst ever in 100 years. AIBC members and Australian businesses who are keen to  assist may please do so directly to the Chief Ministers Fund. 

 

The unprecedented floods in the recent weeks has caused immense destruction of live and property in the State of Kerala in South India. While the Government is providing all possible assistance to the affected people, it is desirable that fellow Indian citizens and the diaspora to join the mammoth relief and rehabilitation efforts currently underway in Kerala. 

 

2. Any organization/individual based in Australia and interested to contribute to the Kerala Government’s ongoing relief efforts are advised to send their donations directly to the CHIEF MINISTER’S DISASTER RELIEF FUND (CMDRF), ACCOUNT NO. 67319948232, IFSC CODE: SBIN0070028, CITY BRANCH, STATE BANK OF INDIA, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM. While bank transfer would be the preferred mode of payment to CMDRF, those desiring to send their contribution through a Cheque/Demand Draft, may do so by sending them to THE PRINCIPAL SECRETARY (FINANCE), TREASURER, CHIEF MINISTER’S DISTRESS RELIEF FUND (CMDRF), SECRETARIAT, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM – 695001, KERALA. 

 

3. The contributions/donations should be sent directly to CMDRF and not through any agency/organizations.
