The New Outlook for the Manufacturing Sector for Australia and India
Thursday, 21st May 2020
5:00 pm to 6:00 pm AEST | 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm IST
The COVID-19 pandemic has heavily impacted many important sectors of the economy globally. The manufacturing scenario in Australia and India will be changing and both the Governments are in the process of implementing new strategies, mitigation measures and new policies. While Australia will be looking inwardly into increased local manufacturing, retooling current facilities and reducing heavy dependence on overseas services, India will be very actively promoting the self-reliance in manufacturing, the Small to Medium businesses and the “Make in India” projects and programs. Experts from both India and Australia will deliberate on this interesting topic in the Webinar. AIBC has established the MAKE IN INDIA Chapter which has identified industries of immediate potential to Australian and Indian businesses including electric vehicles, energy management, sport, food processing, health, services (including infrastructure, manufacturing, legal and professional). AIBC will be launching the Make In India Chapter activities in Victoria in this event.
