We are glad to share the invite, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is a Co-organiser of the Virtual Global Bio India 2021 which is being organised from 1- 3 March 2021 , by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India along with its Public Sector Undertaking, Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC). The other partners are ABLE and Invest India. GBI 2021 provides the ideal platform for stakeholders across the world to converge and create the necessary environment required for the current needs of society. It is imperative we nurture a complete biotech ecosystem in India and enable powerful networking with the country’s corridors of power, while harnessing innovative solutions for the post COVID-19 world.
Biotechnology sector is poised to grow exponentially and is recognized as one of the key drivers for contributing to India’s economy target of USD 5 Trillion by 2024. The Policy initiatives of Government of India (GoI) such as Make in India program are aimed to develop India as a world-class Biotechnology innovations and Bio-manufacturing hub. India is among the top 12 destinations for Biotechnology in the world.
Global Bio-India 2021 will witness participation from National & International bodies, regulatory agencies, Central & State Ministries, Start-ups, SMEs, Large industries, Investors, Bio-clusters, Research Institutes, Not-for-Profit organizations, Philanthropic organizations and others.
We encourage you to participate and kindly disseminate this info among your members, trade bodies, associations and also urge to invite companies & social groups to join in this mega event which will provide an opportunity to connect with the key stakeholders and also showcase strengths to the National and International community.
