Virtual Networking Meet on Organic Products
Con Livissianis Agribusiness Chapter Chair – Australia India Business Council presented at the APEDA “Virtual Networking Meet on Organic Products” on Wednesday 3 March 2022. The High Commission of India in Australia organised and facilitated this important Agribusiness virtual meeting. This perhaps is the first-time organic products were focussed on bilateral discussions.
Con emphasised that India has an enormous opportunity to enter the disjointed Australian organic market.
The Australia India Business Council through its newly formed commercial arm Australia India Business Enterprise is on hand to support and facilitate bilateral trade between Australia and India.
Con linked organics and AgriTech to the protein needs for the increased population to near 10 billion by 2050.
Con in his speech stated “we need to find the balance. We need to have food that is healthy and produced in a sustainable manner. The food process should be environmentally friendly. It will be driven by AgriTech.
The world needs to destress with better collaboration and clearer communication that highlights the benefits of organics and proteins.
Australia is a true business opportunity for India Organics, especially plant-based nutritional high protein products.”
The Australia India Business Council through its newly formed commercial arm Australia India Business Enterprise (AIBE) is on hand to support and facilitate bilateral trade between Australia and India.
Two other AIBE representatives Vish Viswanathan and Irfan Malik also joined the discussion forum reiterating the support by AIBC/ AIBE in the growing organic market in the bilateral space and continuing the dialogue with APEDA and Indian organic industry to pursue business to business opportunities.
