Nicole Lawder
Nicole is an experienced leader with expertise in community service, advocacy, governance and stakeholder engagement. She has recently retired from politics after three terms as an elected Member of the ACT Legislative Assembly. She has served in a variety of parliamentary positions including as a Shadow Minister, Whip, Deputy Leader of the Opposition, Committee Chair, and Assistant Speaker. Prior to her political career, she undertook several CEO roles in the for-purpose sector, and has also had experience in the federal public service and the private sector.
Nicole is currently undertaking research work at the ANU and she sits on some Boards. She spends time with her 13 grandchildren, two dogs, seven chickens and a large vegetable garden in her spare time.
