Victoria

The AIBC Victoria State Chapter plays a central role in strengthening economic, commercial and people-to-people ties between Australia and India. As part of AIBC’s national network, the Chapter operates within one of Australia’s most globally connected and economically diverse states.

The Chapter brings together senior leaders from business, government, academia and the community to create practical pathways for trade, investment and collaboration. Through targeted programs, sector-focused initiatives and thought leadership events, AIBC Victoria supports organisations engaging with India’s rapidly growing market while promoting Victorian capabilities globally.

Victoria’s engagement spans priority sectors including advanced manufacturing, professional services, technology and digital transformation, education, infrastructure, health, sports diplomacy, and women in leadership initiatives. The Chapter acts as a conduit for members by facilitating dialogue, building trusted networks and supporting access to market-relevant insights.

AIBC Victoria works closely with AIBC National, the Consulate General of India in Melbourne, Global Victoria, city and regional councils, industry bodies and partner organisations to ensure Victoria’s strengths are represented in the broader bilateral agenda. The Chapter supports delegations, trade missions, roundtables and commercial introductions, helping members build meaningful cross-border partnerships.

With a strong and active committee, the AIBC Victoria Chapter remains committed to advancing bilateral growth, supporting members and strengthening Victoria’s role in the Australia–India economic corridor.
