Recently, Australia India Business Council (AIBC) and TiE Melbourne hosted a special talk spotlighting women entrepreneurs and founders – and why our business community needs more of them, backed by real funding, mentorship, and visibility.
AII CEO Lisa Singh shared her career journey with women founders and TiE Women alumni, reflecting on the power of community, mentorship, and networks that champion women — and how today’s leaders can open doors for the next generation.
The panel featured strong insights from The Hon. Lisa Singh, Namita Gupta, and Sheela Edwards. The Hon. Jodie Harrison, NSW Minister for Women, also committed to championing this cause, particularly around funding.
Great to see the Australia-India Council and TiE partners driving these important conversations. A promising step towards a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.
