Shwetali Sawant is a social entrepreneur, biomedical engineer, and community leader with more than 15 years of professional experience across entrepreneurship, research, sales, marketing, engineering, and community-led business development. She is the Founder of Social Sourcing Pty Ltd and The Indian Bazaar, where she has built platforms that connect businesses, entrepreneurs, community leaders, councils, and industry stakeholders.
Her work has focused on championing small businesses, empowering women entrepreneurs, supporting home-based businesses, and advising councils and government agencies. With broad multicultural networks and a practical, delivery-focused approach, Shwetali brings a strong capacity to design and deliver meaningful member engagement through curated events, strategic introductions, industry conversations, and partnership-led programming.
Shwetali has held leadership roles as Founder of The Indian Bazaar and Social Sourcing Pty Ltd, Board Member of Indian Business Women Network Inc., member of the Plenary Health Community Subcommittee for the New Footscray Hospital, Multicultural Advisory Committee member for RUOK? Charity, Committee Member for International Women’s Federation of Commerce and Industry (IWFCI) and Wyndham City Council’s City Design Portfolio Advisory Committee.
