Vish Vishwanathan

Vish, an electronics engineer from the University of Madras, India and a postgraduate from University of Sydney in technology commercialisation, is an accomplished technocrat with 50 years of experience both in India and in Australia.

He has served with leading organisations like the TATA Group and Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Limited ( KELTRON) in India and NSW Government Agencies such as Department of Finance, Services & Innovation and Department of Planning & Environment.

Vish has performed in senior roles in whole-of-government procurement, strategic business development, international business, medical electronics, and infrastructure projects, both in Australia and India and dealing with global organisations. As country manager of the international business division of the Department of Public Works & Services, NSW Government Vish was involved in transfer of Water & Wastewater treatment technology to Government of Karnataka in Bengaluru, India.

Vish is a long-standing member of AIBC and has been engaged in establishing relationships with INVEST INDIA, Indian Pulses and Grains Associations, Trade Promotion Council of India, Federation of Indian Industry and Commerce (FICCI and supported bilateral trade delegations over the years. In addition to taking forward the Make with India, he has also been engaged with the agri-business and the defence & security chapters earlier.
