AIBC has signed an MOU with ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India), India’s oldest apex industry chamber. ASSOCHAM has a network of more than 4,50,000 members, of which medium and small businesses represent a large segment, with a strong presence in all states.
The MoU was signed by Irfan Malik (MAICD) National Associate Chair, AIBC, and Deepak Sood, Secretary General, ASSOCHAM during the Vibrant Gujarat Summit (10-12 January) in Gandhinagar in January 2024.
The MoU sets out a framework for AIBC and ASSOCHAM to cooperate in all areas of industry. The two bodies will be working together on Industry specific trade delegations, business to business connects, market access and entry pathways between Australia and India, as also partnerships and joint ventures between member businesses.
