The Australia India Business Council proudly acknowledges the remarkable efforts and leadership demonstrated by the outgoing committee of the AIBC Western Australia Chapter. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Paritosh(Pari) Misra Mishra, who has completed six years of dedicated service on the executive committee, including two impactful years as President. We also offer our sincere appreciation to Yaso Ponnuthurai Bcom MBA GAICD and Richard Baddeley for their valuable contributions and unwavering commitment throughout their terms.
Thanks to the leadership of Pari Mishra, whose guidance and vision elevated the WA Chapter’s engagement, partnerships, and visibility.
Reflecting on his journey, Pari shared:
“It has been a highly rewarding journey, especially leading the local WA Chapter as a Management Committee Member, Vice President, and President. During my tenure, we were able to successfully collaborate with various strategic organisations like DFAT, the Indian High Commission, the Consul General of India, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia, the local WA Government, the Indian Government, various sporting bodies, players, businesses, and leaders to drive matters of bilateral significance—especially the Australia–India new economic roadmap and the FTA. We were also able to enhance the brand value and visibility of the Australia India Business Council in the state through bilateral strategic engagements and events.”
At the same time, we warmly welcome the incoming committee, led by President Dr Jyothi Tegginamath and Vice President Siva Murugappa Murrugappa, together with the newly elected executive team. We are confident they will build upon the strong foundations laid and bring renewed energy to the year ahead, especially as AIBC celebrates its 40th anniversary.
Closing Remark from the National Chair, Deepak‑Raj Gupta OAM
“On behalf of the AIBC, I extend my sincere appreciation to Pari and his committee for their outstanding work and unwavering commitment to strengthening bilateral engagement. Their leadership has significantly advanced the Council’s mission, and Pari’s presence will be truly missed on the national board.
We thank the outgoing team and warmly welcome the new committee as we look forward to an exciting chapter for AIBC.”
