Dr Amit Chaubey is a Business & Technology Leader with 27+ years of experience across India, Japan, Singapore, and Australia, combining deep business insight with a pragmatic, relationship-led approach that connects industry, government, and academia. He is currently the Founder & CEO of Chakra-X, Director at Yirigaa (Aboriginal Business), and a Founding Board Director of Yirigaa Pathways Limited, a not-for-profit organisation. Amit also serves as Chair of the NSW Branch of the Australian Information Security Association (AISA), a cybersecurity community of 1,900+ members. He has been NSW Cyber Security Ambassador (Investment NSW) since 2020, Chair of the IT Steering Committee at the Kids with Cancer Foundation, and an Advisor to the India Future Foundation, sustaining active Australia-India bilateral networks. Earlier in his career, he was CISO & Head of Cyber Risk, Governance & Compliance at one of the largest electricity distribution companies based in Sydney and held regional cyber and technology risk leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase and Citibank. He holds an Honorary PhD in Information Technology (Cybersecurity) and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
