Aruna Chandrala is the Vice President of the Australia India Business Council (AIBC) NSW and a highly respected community leader with almost four decades of experience strengthening relationships between Australia and India.

Throughout her career, Aruna has held numerous executive and governance roles across multicultural, community and not-for-profit organisations, including serving as President of the United Indian Associations Inc. and the Telugu Association Inc., and as a Director of the India–Australia Friendship Fair. She has also founded and led several initiatives supporting migrants, women and multicultural engagement.

With extensive experience working alongside government, business leaders, community organisations and volunteers, Aruna has successfully delivered major community events, fostered strategic partnerships, and championed initiatives that promote cultural understanding and community participation. She has also served on several advisory committees, contributing to public safety, multicultural affairs and South Asian community engagement across New South Wales.

As Vice President of AIBC NSW, Aruna is committed to strengthening Australia–India business and community connections, enhancing member engagement, and supporting initiatives that advance bilateral trade, investment and collaboration.
