A remarkable evening for the Australia–India business relationship in Victoria.
AIBC Victoria was delighted to bring together leaders from government, industry and the broader business community for the annual Australia India Address 2026 at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins.
We were honoured to welcome Nuno Matos, CEO of ANZ, as our keynote speaker, sharing his perspectives with the Australia–India business community.
The evening also featured an engaging panel discussion with Sanjeev Gandhi (BE Chemical, MBA), Managing Director & CEO of Orica, and Ketan Panchal, Senior Vice President & Managing Director, Wipro Australia & New Zealand, bringing together valuable perspectives on the opportunities ahead for the bilateral relationship.
AIBC National Chair Deepak-Raj Gupta OAM also provided an overview of AIBC’s perspective on the growing Australia–India relationship and shared insights into AIBC’s forthcoming Bootcamps in North and South India, highlighting the Council’s continued efforts to strengthen business engagement and opportunities between the two countries.
Beyond the formal program, it was wonderful to see so many members, partners, business leaders and friends of AIBC come together to connect, exchange ideas and strengthen relationships across the Australia–India corridor.
A sincere thank you to Assoc. Prof Dhara Shah (PhD), AIBC Victoria President, and the entire AIBC Victoria Committee for their tremendous effort in bringing the evening together, as well as to the AIBC National Secretariat for their support in delivering the event.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Wipro, our AIBC Victoria Platinum Partner, for its valued support.
