AIBC convened leading businesses in the bilateral corridor for a round-table in Adelaide to engage with Tim Thomas, CEO, Centre for Australia-India Relations (CAIR). The session was held on 9 August at the DFAT offices. CAIR is a national platform established by the Australian Government in 2023 to support and facilitate greater collaboration and engagement with India.
About 25 senior leaders were present, including the Hon Martin Hamilton-Smith, former SA Minister for Trade and Investment, senior officials from DFAT, and representatives from Grain Producers SA, the Almond Board of Australia, StudyAdelaide, City of Salisbury, Centre for Enterprise Dynamics in Global Economies, Patritti Wines and technology company, DWS.
