AIBC hosted a farewell reception for Manish Gupta, Consul General of India, Sydney and South Australia. Mr Gupta has been an extraordinary Consul General during a historic time in the India Australia relationship. As well as supporting the Indian Australian community, he has driven Indian business engagement with NSW and South Australia through countless delegations and ministerial visits.
He has been a big supporter of AIBC events and has helped to guide our member businesses in their engagement with India. About 100 people participated in the function, including the NSW Treasurer Daniel Mookhey; Trade and Investment Minister, Anoulack Chanthivong; NSW Shadow Minister for Planning & Public Spaces, Scott Farlow and Liverpool MP, Charishma Kaliyanda.
