John Paynter is an Australian business leader with more than 20 years’ experience in commercial leadership, business development and cross-border operations. He is Project Manager at Gauyog Kendr Limited, an organic fertiliser manufacturer in Somnath, Gujarat, where he has led the establishment and scaling of the enterprise, including workforce development, regulatory compliance, supply chain and market expansion. Formerly the founder of a successful mortgage brokerage in Brisbane, John brings first-hand experience of the Australia–India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement and is passionate about deepening trade and investment ties between Queensland and India.
