Sangeeta highlighted the Indian government’s National Health Mission, which aims to provide affordable healthcare to all, requiring greater capability building across several areas. There are also several opportunities across states in India who are driving this Digital and Medtech adoption across the healthcare services sector, which can be leveraged by Australian medtech businesses.
Specific areas where India can benefit from Australia’s expertise include remote and primary healthcare, medtech-based solutions for lifestyle diseases management, and elderly care/ geriatric care.
