Modi’s Visit to Melbourne, AIBC National Chair with the PMO India

The Next Phase of the Australia–India Partnership

The ceremony was opened by Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan, setting the stage for discussions on the next phase of the Australia–India partnership.

Prime Ministers Anthony Albanese and Narendra Modi have outlined a clear framework for strengthening bilateral cooperation between Australia and India, spanning trade and investment, critical minerals, clean energy and energy security, technology and innovation, resilient supply chains, infrastructure, education and skills, and enhanced business-to-business collaboration.
The focus now shifts to translating these shared priorities into tangible opportunities and measurable outcomes.

The Australia India Business Council (AIBC) is well positioned to support this transition by connecting businesses, industry leaders, and stakeholders across both nations, facilitating strategic dialogue, and enabling partnerships aligned with these key sectors.

We invite businesses, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders across Australia and India to engage with AIBC and participate in this next chapter of a rapidly evolving bilateral relationship.

The priorities have been set. The opportunity is substantial. The time to act is now.
