QLD Luncheon and Franchise Industry Awards

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating connection and collaboration.

Earlier this week, the AIBC Queensland Chapter hosted an AIBC Members Networking Lunch in Brisbane, coinciding with a special visit from AIBC National Chair, Deepak-Raj Gupta OAM.

It was a fantastic opportunity for members to connect with one another and engage with key stakeholders, as the Australia India Business Council (AIBC) celebrates its milestone 40th year.

AIBC Queensland President, Namrata Datt, opened the afternoon by highlighting key developments across the bilateral business corridor and outlining the Queensland chapter’s strategic priorities for this landmark year. This was followed by remarks from National Chair, Deepak-Raj Gupta OAM, who shared a national perspective on the 40th anniversary program across state chapters and upcoming engagements in India, reinforcing the importance of accelerating SME participation within the bilateral ecosystem.

A special thank you to AIBC Queensland President, Namrata Datt, for bringing together such a successful event within a very short timeframe.

We were also honoured to be joined by distinguished stakeholders, including Consul General of India in Queensland, Neetu Bhagotia, and Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) Director, Gabrielle Troon. Both speakers highlighted the strong collaboration between governments to enable seamless business engagement. A special thank you as well to Diana Georguieva from Business Chamber Queensland for joining members and contributing to these important conversations.

The energy in the room made one thing clear – the next chapter of Australia–India business relations is brighter than ever.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such a successful afternoon.

On a related note, AIBC was also delighted to be invited to the Franchise Council of Australia (FCA) Gala Dinner, where it was a pleasure to see the Consul General of India in Brisbane in attendance.
