AIBC National Chair, Jodi McKay has been appointed to the inaugural Advisory Board of the Centre for Australia-India Relations (CAIR).
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese recently announced that CAIR will be the key national body to drive deeper engagement with India through business, policy and cultural activities and also work with the diaspora.
The Advisory Board will support the CAIR leadership, Swati Dave and Tim Thomas, as they establish the Centre and develop an ambitious agenda to strengthen friendship with India and important trade and business outcomes.
“Harnessing the Indian Australian community’s connection to both countries will be critical to the Centre’s success and I’m looking forward to supporting Tim and his team on this important journey, “ said Jodi McKay.
