AIBC Western Australia Chapter was part of the WA Government’s largest ever business delegation on an Invest and Trade WA mission to India in July, visiting four cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Vizag and Chennai.
More than 110 business delegates participated across six sectors – primary industries, culture and tourism energy and infrastructure
They participated in a range of activities including government and corporate meetings and site visits, industry briefings and roundtable discussions, one-to-one business matching, and networking events with Indian government and industry representatives.
Michael Carter, AIBC WA President said the mission assisted WA businesses in improving their Indian business and cultural literacy, expand their business connections into India, strengthen investment and trade opportunities and leveraged opportunities arising from the interim AI-ECTA.
