Message from the National Chair

Dear Members,

It is with great honour and a deep sense of responsibility that I step into the role of National Chair of the Australia India Business Council (AIBC). I am immensely grateful for the trust and confidence you have placed in me, and I pledge to uphold the high standards and values that AIBC represents.

I would like to warmly acknowledge Amritha Zachariah, our newly elected National Vice Chair, whose dedication and vision will undoubtedly play a key role in shaping AIBC’s future as we work together to advance our mission and support our members.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the outgoing Chair, Jodi McKay, and Vice Chair, Ravneet Pawa, for their exemplary leadership and firm commitment to AIBC. Their dedication has been instrumental in maintaining AIBC’s reputation as a premier organisation fostering Australia-India relations. I extend my best wishes to both Jodi and Ravneet and look forward to their continued affiliation with AIBC in the years to come. I would also like to thank the past chairs and the AIBC life members for their contributions.

I also wish to acknowledge and thank the other candidates, Peter Hendy – National Chair – Anand Singh and Barbara Ward – National Vice Chair for their interest and participation in what was a respectfully contested and democratic election. Your contributions and vision for AIBC have enriched this process, and I hope to collaborate with you in future initiatives.

As we embark on this new chapter together, I am eager to build on AIBC’s legacy and work collaboratively to strengthen our community, foster impactful partnerships, and unlock new opportunities for our members. Together, let us continue to elevate AIBC to new heights.
