Our Queensland Chapter hosted a farewell in Brisbane on 7 June 2024 for Mrs Archana Singh, the former Honorary Consul General for India in Queensland. Mrs Singh has made an invaluable impact on nurturing the bilateral relationship and supporting the diaspora for over 13 years. She is deeply respected for her leadership, vision and dedication.

AIBC was invited by Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) to host a panel discussion on “Taste of Queensland in India” in Brisbane in March 2024. Following AIBC’s Football Roundtable earlier this year in Melbourne, we are seeing some early wins. Our team was invited to the A-Leagues Western United Football Club‘s new facilities in Melbourne’s West  along with  the Indian Super League East Bengal Club. Our Queensland Chapter, led by President Nik Senapati, had a discussion with the new Australian Consul-General for Mumbai, Mr Paul Murphy, earlier this month in Brisbane. The discussions were organized by DFAT and focused on various industries, including agri-food, education, media and critical minerals. In addition to our members, also present at the occasion was
