AIBC celebrated Diwali around Australia. Highlights included the lighting of the Sydney Opera House and an event hosted by Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk in Brisbane. AIBC NSW and the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce Inc. have held the inaugural First Nations Roundtable, engaging First Nations Businesses in the growing Australia-India dialogue.  The roundtable follows the launch of the Indigenous and First Nations Business Connect Chapter – Chaired by Indu Balachandran and Susan Moylan-Coombs.

The AIBC NSW and Qld State Chapters jointly hosted a special Virtual Event on 26 January 2022, to celebrate Australia Day and commemorate India’s Republic Day and 75 years of Indian Independence. The well-attended event, brought together government and business representatives from Australia and India, as well as Indigenous business leaders, AIBC members and sponsors.
